After a 7 year break, back in 2020 the Strokes hopped back on the scene and once again made a name for themselves by bringing their signature indie rock sound with “The Adults Are Talking” and an accompanying album. While not as critically acclaimed as their earlier works, it does work as a clear reminder of what made their music so captivating when they came about, and especially when they dropped what is usually considered their greatest work: 2003’s Room on Fire.
